Balinese cuisine has an extraordinary variety of ingredients using lots
of spices and then mixed with fresh vegetables, meat and fish. Balinese
cuisine is part of Indonesian cuisine which is thick with spicy, sour,
salty and slightly sweet flavors. This shows original traditions, as
well as influences from other regional Indonesian cuisines, as well as
regions from other countries such as China and India. The island's
population, which is predominantly Hindu, has culinary traditions which
are certainly different from other regions in Indonesia, food is used
for festivals and religious celebrations including many special foods

In Bali it is not difficult to find this food because almost all food stalls to restaurants serve lawar as one of the main menus.

3. Jinggo rice
In Java there is rames rice then in Bali it is called jinggo rice. White rice is served with a variety of side dishes ranging from urap, fried noodles, shredded chicken and chili sauce. Jinggo rice has a characteristic of getting more savory because it is served with a sprinkle of coconut shavings. The sambal that is complementary is sambal uleg instead of sambal matah typical of Bali. The way to serve the meal is also traditional because it is served on a piece of banana leaf. Most of them are eaten by pulping or eating by hand.
